Hyaluronic Acid acts as a binder with water to plump the skin. It's not absorb into the skin since the molecule is too large to penetrate into the skin. It's most effective when injected which, off course, is expensive. Products with collagen are the same. Collagen is great but does nothing when applied topically. The molecule is too large to get into the skin.Between makeup artists, cosmetic surgery and less worries than most of us...we'd all look great too.
